The gap we saw
ONYX1 started inside an Auckland rope access company. The tools on offer came in two shapes: cut-down apps that stopped at invoicing, or enterprise platforms priced per seat with a setup fee and a two-month implementation. Neither was built for a business our size, and both were billed as though we were much bigger.
What we built instead
One flat price for the whole crew. The whole job loop in one place. Safety that happens before the timer starts, and books that leave clean for the accountant. Everything a working trade business needs, and nothing built for a head office that does not exist.

Co-founder and COO
Boro founded an Auckland rope access company in 2022 and built it into a successful business. ONYX1 was born inside it. He still runs crews at height every week, and holds the product to one test: if it does not survive a job site, it does not ship.
Siri
Asiri Dalugoda
Founder and CTO
Siri built ONYX1 end to end. The background is enterprise and fintech systems, IBM among them, plus founding tech startups and publishing research on keeping AI agents answerable to the people who run them. All of it shows up in the product: roles enforced in the database, every total recomputed by the server, and your AI only doing what your role allows.

Ivana Srbinovski
CFO
Ivana is ONYX1's CFO and runs the books at the company ONYX1 grew inside. So the money side of the platform is set by someone who closes a trade business's books at the end of a hard month. She keeps it honest: flat prices, GST done right, and exports your accountant will not swear at.

Every screenshot on this site is the real product. Every price is the real price. If a feature is not shipped, we do not sell it.

GST at 15%, NZBN, NZD, Xero-shaped exports, and the Privacy Act 2020. Built for here, not bent to fit.
We do not tax you for growing
Per-seat pricing quietly punishes hiring, and the punishment lands hardest on the businesses least able to absorb it. One flat price per plan means hiring never multiplies your bill.
