The gap, first hand
Onyx One started inside On Ropes, an Auckland rope access company. The tools on offer came in two shapes: cut-down apps that stopped at invoicing, or enterprise platforms priced per seat with a setup fee and a two month implementation. Neither was built for a business our size, and both were billed as though we were much bigger.
What we built instead
One flat price for the whole crew. The whole job loop in one place. Safety that happens before the timer starts, and books that leave clean for the accountant. Everything a working trade business needs, and nothing built for a head office that does not exist.

Siri built Onyx One end to end, with a specialty in secure systems made for control and auditability. That is why roles are enforced in the database, the server recomputes every total, and your AI can only ever do what your role allows.

Onyx One runs On Ropes every day. The dispatch map, the clock-in gate and the safety forms exist because our own crews needed them, not because a roadmap said so.

Every screenshot on this site is the real product. Every price is the real price. If a feature is not shipped, we do not sell it.

GST at 15%, NZBN, NZD, Xero-shaped exports, and the Privacy Act 2020. Built for here, not bent to fit.
We do not tax you for growing
Per-seat pricing quietly punishes hiring, and the punishment lands hardest on the businesses least able to absorb it. One flat price means your fourth or your twelfth person costs you nothing in software.
