The client portal is where your customer answers their own questions: what safety paperwork was filed, which documents apply to the site, and where their invoices are at. It is included on every plan.
Inviting a client
- Open the customer record and find the Client portal panel. Owners and admins can see it.
- Generate their sign-up link and send it to them however you already talk to them. It lasts 14 days and you can regenerate it any time.
- They set a password once, and they are in. If they already have an Onyx One login from another trade business, your work simply appears alongside it.
What they see
Site reports you have cleared to share, site safety documents such as safety plans and rescue plans, and the invoices you have sent them with due dates and status. Reports and documents can be viewed in the browser or downloaded.
What stays private
Your costs, your margins, your other customers, and internal job documents. A client only ever sees their own records from the providers who invited them, enforced by database row-level security rather than by application code. Two independent security reviews tried to cross that boundary and could not.
Taking access away
Revoke it from the same panel. It takes effect on their next click, and any cached document links stop working.
