Three things are worth importing when you arrive: your customers and their sites, your stock list, and your compliance register. Everything else starts better fresh.
How the wizard works
- Export a CSV from your old system or spreadsheet. Any reasonable column layout works.
- The wizard maps your columns to Onyx One's fields and lets you correct it.
- You see a preview of exactly what will be created before anything commits.
What not to import
Finished jobs and old invoices. Xero stays the source of truth for your accounting history, and a half-imported job history is worse than a clean start. The moving guide covers the full order of operations.
